Barnes & Noble launched their own e-book reader called the Nook. The device is using Google’s Android operating system and has some impressing features like the ability to lend books. The device also has a small color touchscreen for control. The price for this device is $259, the same price as Amazon’s Kindle but with some new features.

The software will synchronize content with a lot of devices including PCs, Blackberries, iPhones, and others. It also allows users to lend their purchased items to friends accounts.

Barnes & Noble will provide access to subscription material, like newspapers and magazines, after the Nook launches which is planned at the end of November.

To us it looks like an interesting gadget and we are looking forward to see it.2
